Individually these works represent minor experiences shared by everyone in the art world at some point. Together they narrate a greater picture that causes mental exhaustion for a lot of artists. Presenting a psychological mindset that results in burn out, the series explores how immersion in the art world can cause someone to exhaust all of their “fucks”, particularly when confronted with discouraging experiences and being on the losing half of the power struggle. These works represent some experiences I have had and people I have met, but are in no way a reflection of all arts professionals and experiences.
