Caitlyn Jean is an artist based in Thunder Bay, Northwestern Ontario. She holds an MFA from the University of Regina and an Honours BFA from Lakehead University. Working across painting, drawing, and new media, her practice explores identity, perception, and emotional states. While her graduate research focused on gender and sexuality, her recent work increasingly reflects on mental health and shifting states of mind. She currently works as a public art coordinator and has previously held roles in galleries related to arts education and exhibition production.
