Floating between life and death, this series is the physical manifestation of my feelings through a highly suicidal period of time. Buried by the tumultuous waves, the body slumps, resigned to the push and pull of the currents; at the complete mercy of nature, the figure is at its most vulnerable, nude and exposed. Seemingly unconscious, the figure's salvation is in the hands of someone else, reliant on being pulled from the water to begin to breathe again, yet the figure remains alone.
